Legal internships
The Wisconsin Court System offers first and second-year-law students the opportunity to work as unpaid interns with circuit court judges during the summer.
Although interns are not paid and cannot be reimbursed for expenses incurred in participating, the internships have much to offer. In addition to solid practical experience, students enjoy a summer in Wisconsin where the weather is wonderful and recreational opportunities abound. Students are encouraged to check with their law school to see if credits are available for completing these internships.
The application deadline for the 2024 Volunteer Summer Law Student Internship Program is January 31, 2024.
