“I wish I had a few more years, but I have things I need to deal with at home,” Malloy told the Ozaukee Press. His current term was scheduled to expire in 2027.

Malloy was first appointed in 2002 by then-Gov. Scott McCallum and was elected to the bench four times. He had served as the presiding judge for the Ozaukee County Circuit Court and as the deputy chief judge for the Third Judicial Administrative District. He is a former member of the Uniform Bond Committee of the Wisconsin Judicial Conference.

Prior to his appointment, Malloy worked in private practice and was active within the State Bar of Wisconsin, serving on the Board of Governors and on a fee arbitration panel. He also served as a member of the Wisconsin Lawyer’s Assistance Program. He has been an active member of his community, involved with organizations such as the Grafton Lions Club, American Legion, and the Ozaukee County 4-H.
