Jerabek Appointed to Wood County Circuit Court

Earlier this month, Governor Tony Evers appointed Gregory Jerabek to the Wood County Circuit Court – Branch 1. Jerabek will fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge Gregory J. Potter.

Jerabek brings nearly two decades of legal experience to the bench, having practiced at Nash Law Group, S.C. in Wisconsin Rapids since 2005. His legal expertise includes civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, and estate matters. Jerabek has also served as counsel for the South Wood County Airport Commission and has extensive trial experience in both civil and criminal cases.

Beyond his legal work, Jerabek has a deep history of community involvement. He has served on the boards of directors for organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area and the United Way of South Wood and Adams County. Additionally, he spent eight years on the Wisconsin Rapids Police and Fire Commission.

“I am deeply honored and grateful to accept this appointment to the Wood County Circuit Court – Branch 1,” said Jerabek. “It has been my privilege to serve the people of Wood County for the last 20 years, and I look forward to continuing that service. As a judge, I will serve with great enthusiasm, diligence, and above all, with the highest ethical standards.”
