The Office of Lawyer Regulation is hosting several events this fall that you won't want to miss:

OLR seminars

Annual OLR Trust Account Update - Friday, September 20 (Online Only)

This seminar is a valuable opportunity for attorneys and staff to stay current with trust account regulations while earning free ethics CLE credit. The session will cover essential topics such as trust account types, opening procedures, handling legal fees, and fraud prevention. Don't miss the chance to ask questions directly to OLR experts during the dedicated Q&A segments. Register here.

Ethics School 2024

The in-person seminar offers 3 CLE/EPR and 1 LAU credit. OLR staff will lead discussions on the Rules of Professional Conduct, focusing on lawyer and staff well-being, ethical considerations during representation, and the impact of personal conduct on professional responsibilities. Ethics School is available in multiple locations and dates throughout October and November:

  • October 4, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Madison College, Madison
  • October 31, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Waukesha Co. Technical College, Pewaukee
  • November 7, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Southwest Technical College, Fennimore
  • November 8, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Western Technical College, La Crosse
  • November 15, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Gateway Technical College, Racine
