By order dated August 3, 2010, the court scheduled public hearings and an open administrative conference in the above matters for Tuesday, October 19, 2010.[1]  Immediately prior to the start of the public hearings on October 19, 2010, the State Capitol building was evacuated by Capitol Police for a period of several hours.  As a result of the evacuation and its impact on the schedules of presenters, members of the Court, and persons seeking to present testimony, the rule hearings and the administrative conference were cancelled.  Judicial efficiency and the administration of justice dictate rescheduling these matters at the court’s earliest opportunity.  Therefore,

IT IS ORDERED that the public hearings on the above petitions shall be held in the Supreme Court Room in the State Capitol, Madison, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 9:30 a.m.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the court's conference in the matters shall be held promptly following the public hearings.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that notice of the rescheduled hearings will be posted on the supreme court Website, the Website for the State Bar of Wisconsin, provided to all persons who routinely receive notice of the court's administrative rule matters, and also provided to persons who registered to present testimony at the public hearings on October 19, 2010.

Dated at Madison, Wisconsin, this 19th day of October, 2010.
