On January 18, 2005, Keith Sellen, Director of the Office of Lawyer Regulation, filed a petition seeking to amend Supreme Court Rule 22.001(3) relating to cost assessments in the lawyer regulation system. A public hearing on the matter was conducted on November 14, 2005, at which time the court took the matter under advisement pending the receipt of further information, including the results of a Bench and Bar Survey conducted by the State Bar of Wisconsin, that includes questions regarding the allocation of fees and costs in lawyer disciplinary proceedings.
IT IS ORDERED that an open administrative conference on this matter will be conducted in the Supreme Court Room in the State Capitol, Madison, Wisconsin, on March 7, 2006 at 9:30 a.m.
