In the matter of the mental commitment of Ty-yon B.: Dane County v. Ty-yon B. (L.C. #2013ME400) |
In our order of November 12, 2014, we noted that the transcript of the probable cause hearing was not in the record, and we directed appellant’s counsel to order it. Counsel now reports that she has been informed by the probate clerk that “Dane County no longer has court reporters at probable cause hearings for mental health commitments.” As a result, counsel now believes there is an issue with arguable merit, and asks us to dismiss this no-merit appeal.
IT IS ORDERED that this appeal is dismissed without prejudice.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the time to file a postdisposition motion is extended to thirty days from the date of this order.
Diane M. Fremgen
Clerk of Court of Appeals
