Investigator
The Wisconsin Supreme Court's Office of Lawyer Regulation is seeking candidates for a full-time Investigator position.
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Salary: $41,656 with excellent state benefits
- Responsibilities: The selected candidate will:

- Formulate evaluation and investigation strategies and prepare reports of recommended findings, conclusions and case dispositions
- Communicate case results to reviewing authorities and parties
- Prepare, process and monitor consensual dispositions
- Qualifications:

Required:
- Courses and/or experience in investigative work and a strong background in law and ethics
- Legal writing skills and excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Law degree, or a bachelors degree and paralegal training supplemented by substantial post-baccalaureate paralegal experience in a law firm or government agency
- Knowledge of attorney discipline and the Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys
- Proficiency with computers and software programs
