February 5, 2016 - The Justices of the Wisconsin Supreme Court have unanimously asked the co-chairs of the Wisconsin Joint Legislative Council to create a committee to study how to improve access to civil legal services for people who cannot afford a lawyer. see full article
February 2, 2016 - The case of the month project provides high school teachers with some of the necessary tools to educate their students about the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Each month, during the Supreme Court's session, a "teachable" case will be highlighted. It will be chosen from the cases the Court will hear that month. February case of the month available here.
February 2, 2016 - Students and teachers from Germantown High School and Stockbridge High School will visit the Supreme Court in Madison on Feb. 4 as part of the award-winning Court with Class educational program. see full article

November 23, 2015 - Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Christopher R. Foley has made headlines in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for the second time this year—all for good cause. In a Nov. 22 column entitled “Judge’s rare public plea finds adoptive family for teen,” columnist Jim Stingl declared: “It worked!” regarding Foley’s effort to find a home for 14-year-old Napoleon “Polo” Scott.
