Purpose: This guide assists eFile users in making payments for filings submitted without accompanying fees. Unpaid filings are placed in a holding queue and are not typically viewed or accepted by court staff. Users have up to 48 hours after submission to make payments through the 'My Cases' or 'Ready to File' links on the eFiling site.

Filings in need of payment – Ready to file
- Visit the eFiling website at https://efiling.wicourts.gov/ and log in. For more information see the article Logging into Wisconsin circuit court eFiling.
- Select Ready to file located towards the top-right of your screen.
- On the Ready to File screen, select Filings in Need of Payment.
Filings in need of payment – My cases
You can also make a payment from My cases. Within 48 hours of the initial filing, an option to Make a Payment will appear in the Actions column for each case that requires payment.
Make payment with US Bank
Once you arrive at Filings in need of payment, you can proceed with paying for your filing as normal. Locate the filing you want to pay for and select the Make payment with US Bank button. From here, you will be redirected to US Bank’s ePayment site.
